Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated professional who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing program management, ship design, production, cyber risk management, testing, logistics, financial management, test and evaluation, configuration management, post-delivery, fleet introduction, light manufacturing, as well as maintenance and repair services to our government clients and industry partners. We need a senior-level Waterfront Change Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of the Strategic & Theater Sealift Shipbuilding Program (PMS 385) for the Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) and Expeditionary Medical Ship (EMS).



Responsibilities

    Monitor, track and maintain EPF Confirguration ManagementM baseline of all in line ship production Engineering Change Proposals, Waterfront and Post Delivery Availability change packages.

  • Provide change management and product configuration management guidance to the EPF/EMS programs at the waterfront
  • Perform as the Certifications Manager for ABS certifications assigned to ship program. Ensure ABS certifications are maintained in the PMS 385 database and shipbuilder's database.

  • Perform shipchecks to on each hull to validate conformity and incorporation of changes, as required.

  • Track PMOD and AMOD baseline awards.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related discipline with 15+ Years' of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to travel independently to shipyard / industrial sites.
