Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated professional who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing program management, ship design, production, cyber risk management, testing, logistics, financial management, test and evaluation, configuration management, post-delivery, fleet introduction, light manufacturing, as well as maintenance and repair services to our government clients and industry partners. We need a Senior Project Engineer / Site Lead ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of the Strategic & Theater Sealift Shipbuilding Program (PMS 385) and specifically to the Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) platform.



Responsibilities

    Responsible for the overall planning, direction, and success of the program in support of the EPF Waterfront Government Lead.

  • Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs are essential tasks for the Program Manager.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition management, contract, technical, and business management.

  • Ensure team members are properly trained in their duties, as well as pertinent program databases and systems.

  • Oversee a team of waterfront personnel in the execution of daily functions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Businsess or related discipline with 15+ Years' of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Active Secret Clearance
