Could you be the full-time hybrid Lead Project Scheduler in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your project scheduling and time management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) performance by developing and maintaining project schedules while fostering synchronization among internal stakeholders. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Finance, and Engineering), analyze critical paths and risks, and ensure the consistency of stakeholder commitments-and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Analyzing the schedule management requirements of the Customer (contractual tool, schedule structure, reporting constraints, etc.).,



  • Defining tender preparation schedules and monitoring them until the submission of the tender.,



  • Detailing the tender schedule based on Reference Library templates, gap analysis, Metiers commitments, and PXO tender strategy.,



  • Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule and proposing optimization and mitigation actions.,



  • Contributing to the project strategy with the project schedule in compliance with contractual requirements.,



  • Defining and maintaining the Project Time Management Plan based on inputs from all stakeholders and keeping it updated.,



  • Building the project schedule based on internal standard WBS, contractual targets, and data provided by all stakeholders.,



  • Organizing and leading periodic project schedule sessions.,



  • Providing timely updated schedule situations highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline.,



  • Promoting time management practices awareness in the project team."

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field (a combination of experience and education may substitute for a degree). ,



  • Experience or understanding of project planning/project controls (minimum of 4 years). ,



  • Knowledge of planning software such as P6 (Planisware knowledge is a plus). ,



  • Familiarity with railway products and systems (preferred but not required). ,



  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. ,



  • Agility to manage schedules, simulate scenarios, and adapt to changing project goals. ,



  • Conflict management and multi-tasking abilities. ,



  • Forensic planning skills (preferred). ,



  • Proactive mindset with the ability to challenge project teams and propose solutions.
