Senior Major Account Manager

Juniper is seeking a Senior Major Account Manager to join our Cloud Sales Team! The Senior Major Account Manager (MAM) is responsible for growing sales and developing relationships with Strategic Cloud customer. We are looking for someone who will think big and make an impact. The MAM will build, develop, and execute a strategic account plan with the sales team to grow Juniper business. They will also work closely and align with their sales peers, systems engineering, customer service, sales operations, and other Juniper and customer teams.

Juniper Networks Cloud Team is seeking dynamic sales professional for the role of Senior Major Account Manager, responsible for leading, driving business growth through developing relationships with. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding Juniper's market presence within existing accounts while forging new relationships. This position thrives in a collaborative, matrixed environment, where building a cohesive "virtual" team is key to achieving territory success.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan focused on driving sales growth and expanding business opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key technical, operational, and business executives, including critical decision-makers
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle including opportunity pipeline, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short-, mid-, and long-term opportunity planning.
  • Strong relationship management skills with a proven ability to identify key decision-makers and influencers within complex organizations.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional account team-including Systems Engineers, Service Management, Inside Sales, and Product Line Management-to drive aligned customer engagement and business outcomes.

  • 10+ years sales experience
  • A strong understanding of the networking industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Software, Services and Solution Selling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Leadership ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain critical customer relationships.
  • Work autonomously, be self-motivated and a strong team player.
  • Experience selling networking and security solutions
  • Experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals and quotes and presenting networking products
  • Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencers
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Travel required


Minimum Salary: $268,800.00

Maximum Salary:$386,400.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $268,800.00 and $386,400.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
