Pay Rate: $22.45

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, maintains organized storage, and supports locating needed parts. Ability to be self-directing, willing to learn and contribute to creative problem solving. Must be a current high performer with a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

* Assists the Working Foreman in supervising the daily activities of bargaining-unit personnel.
* Assists in maintaining the proper level of inventories by analyzing usage and communicating with Harvesting and Operational personnel
* Works closely with Purchasing and Finance in the areas of PO's and account numbers
* Assists the Working Foreman to ensure that all personnel receive the required training and certifications and follow the department's safety program
* Ensures that both the receiving and issuing of transactions are done appropriately in JDE with the correct account numbers.
* Performs physical counts and assists during audits.
* Obtains parts from outside vendors at the request of their customers.
* Performs normal Parts Department functions such as submitting orders, receiving loads, issuing supplies, and resolving discrepancies.
* Will handle all Parts Department functions in the Huron, Salinas, and Yuma Area
* Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

* EXPERIENCE: Must be competent with JD Edwards Equipment and Plant Management software.
* English skills required.
* Mathematical skills and logical thought process required.
* Ability to communicate with people a must.
* Prioritize orders, use of 10-key calculator and computer experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to work in various weather conditions.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to travel to various work locations and relocate.
* Must be able to work on exposure temperatures that may change depending on day-by-day weather including extreme cold, heat and rainy condition

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to work long hours and work 7 days a week when necessary.
* Requires working some Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and nights.
* Must be able travel to various work locations (Salinas, Huron, Yuma) and relocate.

Required Experience

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

* H.S. Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education

PAY RATE: $22.45
