The Administrative Professional - Congressional Communications will provide expert-level support to the Director of Staff Directorate at Space Systems Command (SSC), United States Space Force. This role requires a high degree of critical thinking, political acumen, and familiarity with Congressional processes to ensure effective communication and coordination between SSC and Congressional stakeholders. Salary Range Full salary range for this position is $159,000 to $173,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability. Education, Requirements and Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a Congressional liaison or legislative affairs role within DoD or a military service. Familiarity with the Congressional budget and appropriations process. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Example lifting in excess of 25 lbs, standing for long periods of time, traveling across base regularly, transporting equipment, etc. Need help finding the right job?
