Summary

The Assistant Director of International Patient Experience & Business Relations is responsible for enhancing the global presence, patient experience and business relations efforts within Patient Services at Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHMI). This role focuses on building and maintaining strategic partnerships with consumers international insurance companies, and healthcare providers abroad to increase patient volumes, strengthen referral networks, and elevate the overall experience of international patients and their families. This position works closely with key members of the team to plan, design, implement and direct patient experience improvement strategies and to embed patient experience and service quality metrics as an integral part of performance management and in line with the organizational key strategic focus on the international patient experience. This role facilitates engagement with external visitors and delegations ensuring that JHMI remains a globally trusted healthcare destination.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, public health, or related field is required.

Master's is preferred.

Work Experience:




  • Seven (7) years of experience in healthcare operations, patient experience, marketing, or international business development.
  • Four (4) years people management experience.
  • Previous experience in administrative, sales or patient experience roles within a healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of implementing customer service improvements and managing international or multicultural customer relationships, with prior supervisory experience required.



Salary Range: Minimum 41.26/hour - Maximum 72.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
