We are looking for a well-rounded and forward-thinking leader with a strong record of building and developing high-performing teams, managing accounting operations, and navigating the demands of a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for complex accounting areas, lead system implementation efforts, and drive high-impact process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability. Success in this role will require strong analytical capabilities, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead the accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and global accounting standards.
- Oversee financial consolidation and intercompany accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across global entities.
- Manage LATAM accounting operations, driving consistency, compliance, and process improvements within the region.
- Own and manage various accounting platforms from a business perspective, ensuring systems support operational needs.
- Strengthen internal controls and support SOX compliance to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
- Drive the adoption of automation, AI, and innovative technologies to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
- Function as a strategic partner across International Accounting, Technical Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Finance.
- Manage audit processes and regulatory requirements by partnering effectively with external auditors and internal customers.
- Provide ad-hoc support to leadership teams.
What You Need To Succeed
- CPA license required, with experience in both public accounting firms and publicly traded multinational companies.
- Demonstrate strong autonomy and accountability, leading complex projects with minimal oversight.
- Communicate with clarity and influence, effectively engaging executive leadership and diverse audiences.
- Champion process improvements and innovation, applying technology and analytics to boost efficiency and scalability.
- A solid understanding of lease and treasury accounting is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems required, preferably SAP S4 HANA.
- Proficiency in Blackline, Tableau, and Power BI is highly preferable.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $100,900 -- $214,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
