Job Description

As the Senior Vice President of Finance for the Americas, you will offer strategic financial leadership for the Americas Business Unit. Reporting to the Corporate Executive VP of Finance, you will collaborate with the Americas COO and senior leadership to improve financial reporting, visibility, and systems, while steering long-term decision-making. Key responsibilities include overseeing accounting and finance operations, financial and tax reporting, financial planning and analysis, and managing incentive compensation. You will work closely with HR, Legal, Professional Services Delivery, and Go-to-Market teams, supporting corporate financial initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial performance and growth.

Strategic Financial Leadership:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the COO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, tools, and automation to enhance reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting:

  • Provide strategic leadership across FP&A and Accounting functions to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly planning and closing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial integrity.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable insights to drive operational and financial outcomes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with GAAP/IFRS standards.
  • Lead the accounting close calendar, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
  • Manage external audits and maintain adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, remote finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication within the finance team and across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as VP of Finance or similar role, preferably in professional services.
  • Experience partnering with executives on performance, strategic initiatives, and financial planning.
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, including IFRS 15.
  • Degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Senior/Executive Management (including business and IT C-level staff) and customers/vendors.
  • Balance of business knowledge and people management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Skilled in managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and aligning diverse stakeholder interests.
  • Ability to travel both within North America and internationally as needed.

Additional Information

Base Salary Pay Range*: $220k - 260k base plus bonuses

*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
