DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will collaborate with fellow staff members in the production of traffic signs for the County Maintenance Districts. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the setup and operation of silk screening machinery, as well as utilizing sheet metal shears and various machines for tasks such as roller covering, base coat painting, automatic punching, die cutting, and cornering. You will also be involved in the mixing and application of paint through the silk screen technique. Furthermore, you will be tasked with the layout and application of letters, numbers, and directional arrows on signs, while also assisting in the setup, adjustment, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment. Additionally, you will help manage shop inventory and will have the chance to operate forklifts as part of your daily responsibilities. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in the operation of equipment used in producing or manufacturing signs; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
