The Treasury Generalist will be part an integral part of the Corporate Treasury department and will support various key functions, including investment management, liquidity/funding management, asset/liability management, capital management, and hedge administration. The primary emphasis will be on investment management. Additionally, the Generalist will prepare various analytical and management performance reports as well as have potential to participate in executive-level management meetings, including but not limited to, Deposit Pricing Working Group, ALCO, and Investment Committee, as scheduled.

• Support investment portfolio management, BOLI management and all related functions, including but not limited to trade execution support, market monitoring, performance reporting, and operations.
• Support funding/liquidity management function, including daily liquidity monitoring, reporting, operations, and potential trade execution.
• Update department policies and procedures, as needed.
• Preparation of management presentations, including, but not limited to, DPWG, ALCO, Investment Committee.
• Apply economic and financial knowledge to support daily management of Valley's investment, liquidity, and funding responsibilities.
• Research of interest rate/market benchmarks, industry trends, economic indicators, banking trends, and regulatory trends for analysis of risk/opportunity. Results will support recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with key Corporate Treasury functions, including Asset/Liability Management, Liquidity/Funding Management, Capital Management, and Hedge Administration.
• Provide Corporate Treasury support to Valley's Lines of Business, including Retail Division, Commercial Division, Government Banking Segment, Specialized Industries, and ValleyDirect.com.
• The Generalist may participate in various ad-hoc initiatives that could provide exposure to other Valley divisions/departments, including Retail, Commercial, and Valley Digital.
