Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Intern to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Costa Mesa, CA. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes for our cutting-edge electronics products. You will also have the chance to contribute to continuous improvement efforts to boost the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Assist with Travelers for manufacturingand verify pertinentsequence steps are address and followed.
  • Review procedures at the variousjob functions to see if they are current and/or need updating.
  • Assist ME's inidentifying process and or tooling improvements as he (intern) would be on the production floor following products with each traveler step
  • Assist ME's withreflow profiles and thermocoupleattachments on solder samples.
  • Assist manufacturing personnelas needed to learn various roles (SMT feeder loading, mechanical assembly, etc)
  • Assist maintenance techs in various daily activities.
  • Assistwith various ME and MFG functions as needed.


Education and Experience:



  • Currently in year 3 or 4 of a 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related Engineering field
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to follow oral and written guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite
  • Strong commitment to respect, integrity, and accountability
  • Willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
