Sr. Underwriter Allied Healthcare Hybrid Phoenix The Sr. Underwriter Allied Healthcare will act within established guidelines and market to analyze, review, evaluate, and monitor new and renewal accounts for our Allied Healthcare Practice. Underwriters exercise independent judgment in processing accounts and managing underwriting activities. Underwrites typical support of $4 Million to $6 Million in GWP. Candidate Profile We seek a Sr. Underwriter with expertise in Allied Healthcare Professional Liability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of success in a top-tier Commercial Insurance carrier and will focus on developing a book of business targeting healthcare clients across the United States. Qualified candidates should have strong connections within the allied healthcare and professional lines wholesale broker channels. They should be experienced in portfolio management, including soliciting submissions, underwriting analysis, preparing and issuing indications/quotations/binders, and marketing. In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for a candidate with an executive presence skilled in communication, influencing, and building solid relationships that add value to our business and contribute to longer-term strategic initiatives. Work Profile The work profile for this exciting position entails a unique hybrid work environment that offers the flexibility of working from home two days a week and being present in one of our corporate offices for the remaining three days. In addition to the hybrid work environment, this position requires regular travel to meet with brokers and clients face-to-face. This aspect of the job provides an excellent opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and further the underwriter's insights into the industry. As part of this role, you will also attend industry and company events. These events are an excellent opportunity to network with industry leaders, learn about the latest industry trends and innovations, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in your field. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Required Education/Training & Experience:
We currently expect to offer a base salary of $140 -180k for this position. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of various factors, including your specific experience and work location. In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate performance and your performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package that includes medical plans. |
