ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Provide support to the Commercial Lending team's customer facing activities including the administration of various loan closing support tasks and customer service functions of existing relationships functions on behalf of the applicable Regional Commercial Lending Team.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


1. In concert with the Commercial Lender, administer the customer facing loan closing process for new and renewal loan facilities, ensuring all required documentation is received and processed.
2. Provide customer service to all current and prospective commercial lending clients. Research and resolve or delegate customer issues, operational and transactional issues and inquiries, including payment and billing, overdrawn and uncollected accounts, and past due payments with the oversight of the appropriate Lender as necessary.
3. Prepare and/or request from the loan servicing department account transfers, payments, wire transfers, pay-offs, and loan advances for Lender and/or Credit Department approval.
4. Follow up with customers regarding outstanding financial information needed for renewal transactions.
5. Work with Commercial Lenders to update and maintain customer sales activities in the Bank's commercial lending tracking system (SalesForce).
6. Assist the Team Leader with the tracking and reporting of Regional Loan production.
7. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team including, loan document scanning, invoice processing, and tracking and ordering incidental office supplies.

Requirements
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU


  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and lending tracking systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to independently research, resolve or elevate customer issues.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial lending and loan closing process, from initial loan term sheet through to closing.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Ability to learn Bank Core, and sales tracking systems; Premier and/or SalesForce experience is a plus.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately in verbal and written format. Interact in a pleasant, cooperative, and timely manner with internal and external personnel at all levels in order to maintain positive company image.
  • Ability to organize time, resources, and set priorities to accomplish multiple duties and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
  • Ability to perform administrative duties: process administrative details in order to solve office problems (e.g. scheduling conflicts, supply delays, information flow), and maintain effective office operation; .


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS


  • Formal education through high school or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in banking industry or financial services industry.
  • Work experience in an office environment.


INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS


  • This position has frequent external contacts with customers, prospects and referral sources.
  • Primary internal contacts include Commercial Credit, Loan Servicing, Closing Department and Retail Customer Service.


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Office environment. Ability to operate computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups. Ability to travel throughout Bank footprint.
