As a Distribution Contact Center Manager, you will provide leadership focused on several distribution channels for the internal life sales contact center. Provide oversight for strategies and programs performed by the team, and adjust direction based on parenthetic metrics.
You will report to the Life Distribution Director.

Position Compensation Range:

$68,000.00 - $113,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities


  • Lead the distribution contact center team for sales support in the applicable distribution channel.
  • Accountable for implementing annual sales plans for the Life Distribution team.
  • Identify sales strategies to boost success in the distribution channel.
  • Determine key performance measures and benchmarks for the Life Distribution Contact Center; design and analyze department metrics.
  • Handle administrative tasks: budget and report preparation, staff projections, and salary administration.
  • Establish and implement departmental plans and strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven environment by promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion; set goals, provide feedback, conduct assessments, and support development.
  • Lead with influence and expertise; contribute to leadership team and communicate organizational mission, vision, values, and policies.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements


  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Specific knowledge in strategy development, research, advertising, marketing, and communication to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills; adept at handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Experienced in creative concepts for strategy and program implementation in the non-standard auto market.
  • Proficient in applying statistical and financial analysis for planning, post-auditing, and forecasting.
  • Ability to shift between strategic and tactical priorities.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent who are self-driven, eager to learn, adaptable to change, and mission-focused.

Licenses


  • Must have or obtain proper Life insurance license within three months of hire. License maintenance and continuing education required.
  • CLU, ChFC or CFP designation must be obtained within a specific timeframe, as defined by manager.
  • Resident Life license within 30 days of hire.
  • Non-resident Life license within 90 days of hire.


Travel Requirements


  • Up to 10%.

  • Work that involves sitting/standing.

  • In this hybrid role, you will work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. You should reside within approximately 50 miles from the following office location: Madison, WI
