Position Summary: The Audiologist II performs audiological diagnosis, case coordination, and treatment for a wide variety of patients, including those who are medically complex. This role serves as a consultant and educator to interns, externs, and other clinical staff and may also engage in research and administrative functions as assigned. The Audiologist II works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered, evidence-based care in a pediatric setting. Key Responsibilities: Conducts comprehensive audiological evaluations, interprets diagnostic results, and develops individualized case management and treatment plans for pediatric patients, including those with complex medical needs. Counsels patients and families, coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams, and provides guidance on hearing technologies, communication strategies, and follow-up services. Supports clinical operations, contributes to quality improvement and research initiatives, and provides training and supervision to audiology externs, fellows, and new staff. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree or Doctorate in Audiology from an accredited program required Licensure/Certification: Current Massachusetts license as an Audiologist required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or board certification from the American Board of Audiology required Experience: Pediatric audiology experience strongly preferred Experience with medically complex or developmentally delayed populations is a plus Prior supervision or teaching experience desirable Boston Children's Hospital requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and Flu, (unless you are eligible for a medical or religious exemption).
