Position Description - Create and execute business plan to achieve or exceed territory growth. - Drive new business by selling the QIAStat and NeuMoDx product lines in target accounts. - Influence and lead a team of hospital sales representatives to penetrate and close opportunities. - Create and execute strategies to close high value targets - Manage opportunity pipeline and accurately project 30-60-90 day forecast. - Operate within the hospital environment at a clinical, lab, and administrative level. Focus Areas include : Clinical Laboratory, Executive Suites, Infectious Disease/Control. - Create and deliver presentations to individuals and small groups. - Must be a strategic thinker capable of creating, and executing strategies and tactics. Position Requirements - Bachelors of Science or equivalent - Minimum of four (4) years selling experience. - Experience in hospital laboratory sales. - Experience in capital sales. - Proven record of success. - Demonstrated sales skills by conducting product presentations, effectively handling objections and closing the sale. - Knowledge of relevant markets (i.e., instrumentation, diagnostic), molecular biological topics and products. - Ability to manage territory, leads and forecast. - Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sales Force. - Territory - South Central Region. Personal Requirements - Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills for all business levels. - Strong territory management skills. - Interpersonal and diplomacy skills. - Creative problem-solving skills. - Negotiation skills - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $145,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
