Department OverviewMotorola Solutions, Inc. Job Description
  • Provide Device Engineering subject matter expertise in LTE technology and disseminate new carrier requirements to cross functional Engineering teams to ensure certification compliance.
  • Participate in standards meetings.
  • Review Lab test capabilities and scope and provide technical guidance approval for their use.
  • Provide technical support for debugging of carrier test failures with development teams.
  • Plan and estimate proper certification budgets on programs.
  • Lead the review of the estimates provided by third parties, with collaboration from engineers and managers.
  • Publish Certification Technical Requirement Document.
  • Review features and test plans for products and provide guidance to the test labs.
  • Work with R&D to create release notes tailored for carrier consumption.
  • Obtain codes for use in each device product.
  • Align with the device program team on overarching business goals and high-level requirements.
  • Align with the validation and certification teams to ensure concise schedule execution and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Submit and complete certification for programs by working closely with third party labs and engineering teams, helping to mitigate any test case defects to closure.
  • 25% domestic travel.
  • Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the United States.

Target Base Salary Range: $161,179 - 166,200 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
