Practice Coordinator

Job Title: Practice Coordinator

Location(s): San Francisco, CA

• First priority: Candidates who are fully compliant and Apex trained.
• Second priority: Candidates who are Apex trained and partially compliant.
• Third priority: Candidates who have worked with UCSF in the past and are not compliant.
• Last priority: Candidate who meet the job qualifications but are not Apex trained or compliant.

• Provide support in either back office or call center operations.
• Handle approx. 50 patients or 50 calls per day.
• Support patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth clinic operations.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare back office setting.
• Experience with Epic and insurance workflows.
• Apex system experience strongly preferred.
• Must remain onsite at Mission Bay campus throughout the assignment.

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Flexibility with job duties or shifts as needed.
• Open to learning and adapting in a fast-paced clinical environment.
