Credit Process & Document Specialist, Sr. -- Vice President
The Senior Credit Process & Document Specialist, VP, is responsible for providing guidance and direction with respect to Credit processes/procedures and change management activities. This includes ongoing guidance as well as assisting with the governance process for Credit procedures and serving as a process SME for all areas of the Credit organization, as well as Credit technology projects and training initiatives.
P osition Responsibilities:
Credit Procedures Governance


  • Crafts language for new procedures and updates to existing procedures for complex Credit procedures and applications.
  • Reviews draft Credit procedures.
  • Participates in Credit Process & Procedures Council, including presentation of procedures and documentation of meeting minutes. Serves as backup to the Credit Process & Documentation Lead.
  • Maintains Credit Procedures Manual (publishes new and modified procedures and associated materials/links).
  • Develops process ideas from working groups or project teams into fully formed solutions.
  • Lead and/or participate in procedure-related projects within Credit.
  • Supports all areas of Credit across entire Comerica footprint with process-related requests, including assistance with process mapping and leading process discussions.


End-User Documentation & Communications


  • Drafts/reviews communications for Credit Procedures and/or Credit technology updates/training initiatives.
  • Supports change management initiatives for Credit technology applications, including drafting/review of training content and participation in Credit training events; reviews training materials/content in partnership with the Talent Development team.
  • Supports development of Salesforce Knowledge Articles.
  • Consults and provides SME process knowledge to Credit Technology projects and Training initiatives.


Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 4 additional years of relevant experience
  • 6 years of combined experience writing business procedures, process mapping and/or internal communication and/or creating training content for complete system solutions and processes
  • Credit & Lending Experience, Preferred
  • Project Management Experience, Preferred

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position includes onsite and remote work days. Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
