Job Title: Contract Management Manager

Location(s): Atlanta, GA

Job Description:

The Contract Management Manager will oversee the complete contract lifecycle for a sales organization, from intake to execution, focusing on sales-related agreements, especially those involving OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). This includes drafting, redlining, negotiating, and maintaining contracts while ensuring compliance with company standards and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Contract Intake & Initiation



  • Review incoming contract requests and client-provided agreements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather missing documentation and business context.
  • Initiate kickoff calls to align on negotiation strategy and business intent.


Legal Review & Negotiation



  • Evaluate suitability of CAI templates and tailor accordingly.
  • Conduct initial review of third-party contracts, identifying deviations from standards.
  • Revise contracts to reflect CAI's risk tolerance and business needs.
  • Lead and coordinate negotiations, incorporating internal and external feedback.


Execution & Quality Assurance



  • Finalize and proofread contracts, verifying accuracy of references, defined terms, and exhibits.
  • Track and report status updates across the contract lifecycle.


Process Improvement & Best Practices



  • Propose enhancements to contract workflows to reduce turnaround time.
  • Contribute to policy and guideline development for legal engagement and approvals.
  • Recommend operational improvements for legal and business alignment.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of sales contracts and commercial legal language.
  • Mastery of English language and grammar; excellent drafting/editing skills.
  • Familiarity with business, technology, and professional services contract terms.
  • Ability to translate business/legal requirements into contract terms.
  • Strong judgment and independence in decision-making.
  • Effective stakeholder communication across all levels.
  • Proven organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in contract review and negotiation (especially sales or commercial contracts).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a corporate legal department or as a paralegal/contract manager.
  • Experience with OEM contracts or within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
  • Background in sales or sales support is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
