Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Senior Parts System Administrator in Salem, Virginia at our corporate headquarters. The Senior Parts System Administrator reconciles parts inventory general ledger accounts to the perpetual listing of parts inventory, establishes and maintains corporate parts pricing strategies; ensuring all merchandising programs are identified and pursued and credits are accounted for accurately. Seeking candidates with general understanding of accounting practices. In-depth industry product knowledge and experience. Warehousing or manufacturing operational background preferred. Process improvement/management consulting background preferred.
Requirements for the Senior Parts System Administrator position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Senior Parts System Administrator jobs, including regularly being required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 45 pounds.
