ABOUT THE ROLE:



  • The Data Analyst focus specializes in using modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, identify, and analyze data. This involves drawing insights from governed data to drive business objectives, implementing methods for performing descriptive and predictive analytics, and providing actionable insights for business growth. The Data Analyst works in collaboration with various stakeholders to identify and solve data-related challenges. Their role involves ensuring that the data-related solutions and methodologies implemented are reliable, scalable, and align with the organization and enterprise-wide strategies.


WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:



  • Perform analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports and visualizations of trends and patterns.
  • Work with technology organization and business end-users to understand data and analysis needs to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Coordinate data conversion activities for transformation programs, establishing quality control measures, identifying potential risks, and swiftly resolving issues while adhering to data standards and program objectives.
  • Partner with development and data management roles to identify and capture data required from internal and external sources, and partner in performing validation on behalf of the development teams
  • Create and maintain visualizations and reports to communicate data analysis finding effectively
  • Use data visualization programs, tools and techniques to generate dashboards, reports and presentations that aid in data storytelling, understanding and interpretation of trends and patterns of business importance.


This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The

Education



  • Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 7 years of experience in a data analytics role

  • Preferred

    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Google Data Analytics, CDMP, CIMP, etc.)



Skills and Experience



  • 4-6 years of experience in a Data Analysis role
  • Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools and techniques
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in working with large datasets and performing predictive analysis


Preferred



  • Experience coordinating data conversion activities, particularly with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications
  • Strong understanding of data conversion concepts, as well as data mapping and data quality
  • Experience coordinating large-scale data conversion projects in complex environments
  • Familiarity with Data Governance Frameworks and Data Modeling Techniques
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on data quality, addressing any concerns promptly to maintain stringent data standards
  • Experience coordinating mock conversions to vet the effectiveness of the data conversion procedures
  • Experience developing a comprehensive data conversion strategy to ensure seamless integration of data into new systems
