This role is focused on developing and nurturing relationships with insurance companies and managing general agents and brokers. Provide advanced cybersecurity products and services that enhance their offerings to policyholders. You will act as the primary liaison between our cybersecurity team and insurance providers, general agents and brokers enabling them to offer comprehensive, risk-reducing solutions to their clients while supporting the insurer's efforts to manage cyber risk in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cybersecurity Solutions: Articulate the value of our cybersecurity products and services to reduce cyber risk exposure for insurance providers and their policyholders.
  • Collaborative selling: Partner directly with insurance brokers, underwriters, risk managers, and cyber law specialists to champion our cybersecurity solutions. Assist insurers in designing and deploying customized cybersecurity programs that simultaneously support their cyber insurance offerings and strengthen their risk
  • Leverage Check Point's Partner ecosystem: Work with our distributor teams to identify partners that will take referrals and close new customer business.
  • Strategic Account Management: Own relationships with key insurance industry clients, serving as the go-to expert for all cybersecurity-related inquiries. Provide ongoing support to ensure that insurers are maximizing the value of our solutions in their underwriting processes, claim management, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Claims and Incident Support: Work with insurers' claims and legal teams to assist in cyber incident response and resolution. Guide insurers in using our services to reduce claims frequency and severity by preventing incidents before they happen or helping manage breaches when they do occur.
  • Market Intelligence & Business Development: Stay up to date with trends and regulatory changes in the cyber insurance landscape. Use this knowledge to proactively develop new business opportunities with insurance providers and help them identify areas where cybersecurity can enhance their product offerings.
  • Internal Advocacy: Advocate internally for the needs and priorities of insurance partners, ensuring that our product development and service delivery are aligned with the needs of the insurance market.

Qualifications

  • Cybersecurity & Insurance Expertise: 6+ years of experience in either the cybersecurity or insurance industry.
  • Strong Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders in insurance organizations, including brokers, underwriters, claims adjusters, and risk managers.
  • C-Suite Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex cybersecurity solutions to C-suite executives and insurance stakeholders, and demonstrate how these solutions can mitigate risks and add value to insurance programs.
  • Negotiation & Influencing Skills: Strong negotiation skills, particularly in working with insurance companies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future
