Job Description

We have an exciting immediate opportunity for a 1st ShiftTeam Coordinator to become part of our diverse team in Easley, SC. The Team Coordinator serves as a pivotal production employee, taking on a leadership role within the work area. This individual will guide Operators in their job responsibilities, monitor performance metrics, identify and report causes of deviations, and actively engage in problem-solving initiatives. The Team Coordinator will continually lead and support production efforts across all areas.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Comprehend and articulate the eight categories of waste along with the ten core principles of Lean methodology. Inspire and assist employees throughout the day, keeping teams updated on production expectations, scheduling, and any necessary follow-up information. Ensure that staffing assignments and any gaps are effectively communicated on a daily basis. Collaborate with fellow Team Coordinators to adapt and train employees, aiming to minimize non-value-added hours in production. Lead RCPS board meetings and diligently follow up on outstanding Just Do It (JDI) items and the four essential steps to resolve them promptly.

Completion of High School or GED is required. Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills is essential. Candidates must possess the capability and knowledge to execute all tasks within the designated area. Dependability and a positive attitude are crucial attributes.
