Applications due by July 18, 2025 Goodwill of Colorado Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Goodwill of Colorado is an organization of over $205M in revenue with three (3) operating divisions: Community Impact, Business Services and multi-channel Retail employing over 3,200 individuals. The Vice President of Information Technology for Goodwill of Colorado is responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and direction of our organization. The VP of IT will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking and extensive experience in IT management, with a deep understanding of the business's technological needs. This position is a member of the Executive Team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Pay: $210,000 - $235,000 Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. Goodwill of Colorado provides vacation, sick time, health plans, retirement contributions and other offerings that contribute to your bottom-line compensation. Full-Time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty, and bereavement leave. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; some overtime (evenings & weekends) may be required occasionally; hybrid work opportunity with 3 days in office ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Strategic Planning: * Strategically focused on future-state enterprise applications architecture and roadmap that eliminates siloed point solutions and creates an integrated, scalable operating platform for Goodwill of Colorado (GOC). * Together with the Executive Team, create the Digital Transformation Plan for GOC including the AI strategy for the company. * Communicate and collaborate with the rest of the executive team to translate technical vision into business value. * A technology master-partner to business leaders, working with their teams to understand Retail, mission services, business services, staffing, Finance, HR and E-Commerce teams to define, select and deploy technology requirements and priorities. Cybersecurity and Risk Management: * Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's data and IT systems, implementing appropriate, cost-effective security measures and risk mitigation strategies. * A leader in IT governance, data security, and compliance, ensuring that technology decisions align with industry's best practices and regulatory requirements. Budget Management: * Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation. Team Leadership and Vendor Relationships: * Focused on leading and mentoring a dedicated technology team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. * Responsible for vendor and partner management, ensuring that third-party solutions, partners, and integrations align with the organization's strategic direction. * This position has supervisory responsibilities over the entire IT team. IT Infrastructure Management: * Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, data centers. * Develops planning and maintenance strategies of the organizations data technology operations, including computer hardware, software, and telecommunications data storage and retrieval, as well as redundant back-up of key operating systems. * Responsible for developing and executing a technology roadmap that supports operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation. Project Management: * Accountable for leveraging Project Process Management to deliver enterprise technology projects on time, within scope, and on budget, while ensuring stakeholder expectations are met. Education: * A Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, management/computer information systems or a directly related field; MBA or an advanced degree in a related field is preferred. Experience: * 10+ years of experience (including 2 years in a larger scale environment) in IT leadership, including enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, end point protection, enterprise integrity, compliance with all regulatory requirements, application development, and system integration. Preferred Qualification: * Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Point of Sale (POS), and E-Commerce platforms is highly desirable. * Experience in multi-channel Retail and E-Commerce is preferred. * A divergent thinker, capable of identifying solutions beyond the scope of traditional technology services. * Skilled at developing meaningful metrics, tools and processes to assess, manage and report information technology performance. * Experience as part of the digital transformation and the AI journey of an organization. Other: * Proven ability to align IT strategy with business objectives and manage complex stakeholder relationships. * Strong background in enterprise application consolidation, ideally with experience migrating from siloed point solutions to integrated platforms. Experience in management of necessary and beneficial updates for software and hardware. * Demonstrated success in leading IT transformation efforts, including vendor selection, implementation, and change management. * Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering enterprise-wide initiatives on time and within budget. * Familiarity with AI, cloud-based architecture, data analytics, and cybersecurity best practices. * A servant-leadership mindset, with a passion for mentoring and developing a high-performing IT team while also holding them accountable. * Curiosity and a continuous learning and improvement orientation. * Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with a results driven team with heart for mission. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and executives. * Skill in leading and managing organizational changes related to IT initiatives and transformations, and ability to oversee Return on investment (ROI) analysis for proposed projects. * The ability to balance process and agility and risk mitigation with appropriate speed. * The incumbent will be required and must have the ability to drive for company business*. *Per auto vehicle insurance carrier requirements: For applicants/employees to qualify for inclusion on the Goodwill driver insurance schedule, for purpose of driving Goodwill fleet vehicles, or for purpose of receiving company mileage reimbursement they must be at least: * 19 years of age (not engaged in passenger transportation), * 25 - 70 years of age for all passenger transportation services, * 21 years of age for CDL.
