About This Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Conversion Specialist to join our NetSuite Implementation team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient migration of data from legacy systems into NetSuite. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.\

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal team leads to define data migration requirements and objectives, including data mapping, transformation rules, and validation procedures.
• Work with clients and internal team to ensure data is exported and provided in the expected format.
• Upload data from legacy systems, such as Microsoft Great Plains, SAP, Sage, Oracle Fusion, Xero, and QuickBooks, into NetSuite while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain data mapping templates and scripts to facilitate seamless data conversion processes.
• Perform thorough data validations, reconciliations, and quality checks to ensure a high standard of data accuracy.
• Work closely with implementation teams to align data conversion activities with project timelines, budget and objectives.
• Create detailed documentation of data conversion processes, mapping rules, and methodologies.
• Develop automated procedures for data conversion to reduce manual uploads
• Provide post-implementation support for data-related issues and troubleshooting as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in ERP implementation projects, with a focus on data conversion and migration.
• Experience with NetSuite is required and must understand NetSuite best practices for loading beginning balances, open transactions and transaction details
• Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial data workflows, e.g., chart of accounts, journal entries, subledger details.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis, and macros.
• Familiarity with Celigo and data manipulation tools, e.g., Python, is a plus.
• Experience with automation of data conversions required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data cleansing tools.
• Prior data conversion experience from Dynamics GP and Quickbooks
• Certification in NetSuite or other relevant systems is an advantage.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is$130,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, asfinaloffer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
