Description This is a part time (24 hours every 2 weeks), non-benefited, 8-hr day shift position working varied days (Monday-Friday). Located in La Jolla at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. You are required to float to other sites as needed, but majority of time will be in Torrey Pines. Training will be full time hours for ~4-6 weeks. Why join Scripps Health? Be collaborative, ask questions, and communicate effectively and efficiently with the primary focus of providing exceptional patient care. What you'll do: Conduct significant telephone/patient portal interaction (80%) coordinating care with patients and collaborating with providers and their care teams. Educate patients, manage associated paperwork, order entry, prior authorizations, medication refills, assist in procedures and occasional wound care. You will use minimal hands-on nursing skills. Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
