SAP Lead-Mfg, Plant Applications

As a SAP Manufacturing and Plant Facing Applications Lead you will be responsible for configuration, implementation and support of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) within our multi-system landscape and will need to have a detailed understanding of all aspects of SAP PP/QM including master data, configuration, and end-to-end process, functional experience of PP/QM process in manufacturing, external integration with MES & PLM systems, integration with other SAP modules, and capacity planning.

You will report to the Supervisor, Manufacturing Plant Applications. This is a remote position.

  Lead workshops to explore, define, and document requirements with global business representatives in area of responsibilities.

  
  
• 
  

  Investigate requirements of business processes to provide knowledge required for systems development and problem resolution.

  
  
• 
  

  Complete solution documentation, including important decision documents, blueprints, business process flows, main decision documents and functional specifications.

  
  
• 
  

  Design solutions and configure applications to support our needs and create queries to support ad-hoc reporting requirements.

  
  
• 
  

  Implement system implementation partner to complete configuration, unit testing, and integration testing of all enhancements and changes.

  
  
• 
  

  Develop training materials and transition training to the SAP Testing & Training team for delivery to the end-user.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain solution documentation in Solution Manager.

  
  
• 
  

  Evaluate new functionality in future releases and determine impact on existing functionality.

  
  

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

  
  
• 
  

  5+ years of SAP experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM)

  
  
• 
  

  Hands-on configuration and user experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) & Quality Management (QM).

  
  
• 
  

  Functional experience with SAP QM integration with other SAP modules (SD / PS / MM / SCM / FICO / PM), QM workflow, QM orders, and certificates management.

  
  
• 
  

  Knowledge of SAP security roles as it pertains to Production Planning and Quality Management

  
  
• 
  

  Experience with MES & PLM integrations.

  
  
• 
  

  Debugging skills used to resolve deep seated technical issues.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience with SAP development processes (change control, job scheduling, development methodologies, system landscape, application development, and back-up and recovery)

  
  
• 
  

  Experience with S/4 HANA.
