The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek fellowship trained neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurological Surgery. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Position Overview The primary duties of the positions will be providing surgical care at the James Hospital on main campus. The department prides itself on close collaborative interaction and features a diverse and inclusive team. Department/Division Overview The Department of Neurological Surgery is composed of 25 physicians, 8 PhD research faculty, a complement of 21 residents, and 6 fellows. Comprised of five academic divisions, including Surgical Neuro-oncology, Skull Base, Spinal Disorders, Cerebrovascular, and Functional, the Department provides comprehensive neurological surgical services throughout the health system. The department is deeply invested in teaching and training, offering six CAST-approved fellowships in complex spine surgery, endovascular, spine oncology, pediatric, skull base and minimally invasive cranial, surgical neuro-oncology, and stereotactic and functional.
