Human Resources Operations Coordinator

Your main responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:

The People Services Team is comprised of talented individuals dedicated to managing the operations of the HR department. This team handles a variety of work in support of the Centers of Excellence and HRBP teams within the department. This role reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources and will work in a collaborative team environment in support of HR Operations.
The HR Operations Coordinator supports the administrative, transactional work within Human Resources. In this role, the individual will be responsible for performing HR operational work in support of the HR Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Attraction, Learning and Development, Inclusion and Diversity and HRIS) and the HRBP community. This is an important role in the Human Resources department to ensure the function becomes more efficient, productive, and enable better employee engagement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Submit employee changes (title, supervisor name, salary changes, cost center changes, etc.) to HRIS for processing. 10%
* Manage the administration of onboarding and offboarding while interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders. 20%
* Track, monitor, and coordinate the administration of the leave of absence process in partnership with Total Rewards, HRIS and HRBP's.
* Manage the unemployment claim process with ADP and Field Branch Administrators when necessary.
* Perform event planning responsibilities in support of the HR department (L&D, Early Career, company, and department events, etc.).
* Manage the Early Career Coordinator responsibilities (internship programs, development program candidate management, data management, etc.)
* Document processes and work flows, identify gaps and research solutions. Create process maps for workflows in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Assist with different processes (Compensation, etc.) including but not limited to creating letters and utilizing DocuSign. 5%
* Participate in HR projects with a focus on improvement initiatives that optimize HR processes.
Competencies:
- Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MS Office experience and proficiency
- This position requires the individual to work independently and as part of a team.

What you bring

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required.

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or HR Certification preferred.

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

3+ years of Human Resources Experience/HR Administration.
