Your main responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for the estimating and commercial management of all major project activity within the Existing Installation line of business. In addition to major project activity management this position will be establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers at leading Property Management & Consulting firms to support the ongoing identification and sale of major projects. In addition, the position provides ongoing support to Area/Territory Sales Managers and Sales Representatives in local markets to secure identified major projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

PARTNER WITH FIELD ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS TO PURSUE LARGE PROJECTS
* Review bid and contract documents, identify risk, and estimate projects according to the defined scope of work and terms and conditions. Ensure that projects are priced in alignment with Schindler's priorities and business objectives.
* Organize and lead meetings with the relevant stakeholders associated with opportunities to gain insights and ensure alignment.
* Strategize with the Field Organization to develop alternate submissions that highlight Schindler's key points of differentiation while also providing value for the customer.
* Assist Field Organization in drafting bid submissions, and all required collateral.
* Manage the tools, resources, and processes supporting large opportunities.
EVALUATE MARKETS, DISTRICT PERFORMANCE, AND DATA TO IDENTIFY AND PURSUE OPPORTUNITIES
* Analyze data to proactively identify specific and actionable sales opportunities.
* Partner with the Field Organization to pursue opportunities aligned with our business objectives.
* Partner with marketing, SIS, and other internal stakeholders to develop and maintain reports and systems to highlight opportunities and track progress.

DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN TOOLS, PROCESSES, AND SYSTEMS FOR FIELD ORGANIZATION
* Develop and maintain the tools, processes, and systems that support the Field Organization and Schindler's business objectives.
* These tools and resources may require partnering with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain (ex: SIS, Group, etc.)
* Develop and prepare reports and presentations that highlight opportunities, progress, and results to leadership and other stakeholders.

What you bring

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required.

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of industry experience required.
3+ years of direct sales and account management experience required.
2+ years of management experienc preferred.
