Job Description: Provide specialized support of specific business processes during the plan, design, development, and launch of business and operations systems. Support core organizational functions and business processes with a focus in Salesforce or similar CRMs.
- Support Salesforce.com (SFDC) integration/strategic planning and EAS systems, process evaluation/design, prototyping, configuration, and testing.
- Assist in the provision of system and user administration.
- Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues, and other specific SFDC setup options as necessary.
- Ensure the SFDC is accurate and tracking the important metrics and data and meeting the needs of the business.
- Collaborate with all SFDC users to address system support, maintenance, configuration, operational questions, reporting, integrations and general administration needs.
- Prepare data files and upload data into SFDC using data loader and other 3rd party tools.
- Provide level 1 and 2 user issues support.
- Seek ways to leverage SFDC with other add-ons in the SFDC ecosystem to maximize value.
- Develop and maintain documentation on system architecture.
- Coordinate training sessions and maintain documentation for database users.
- Manage regular system maintenance and data cleansing activities, and proactively drive improvements to SFDC and data governance strategies.
- Provide guidance and support in developing new functionality, and cultivate strong business relationships with end-users and other project stakeholders.
- Identifies and effectively translates business requirements into configuration specifications to improve the overall experience for users.
- Create reports in SFDC to meet business/operational requirements including maintaining standard sets of queries/reports to satisfy requirements; validate queries/reports created by others in the organization and assist in the interpretation of data.
- Project leader on a native Salesforce app or third party connected application.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in the field of computer science or related.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 3+ years of experience with technical Salesforce.com implementation of customer projects.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce.com administration, configuration, and custom development.
License/Certification Required:
- Salesforce ADM 201 certification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of: Salesforce.com configuration and portals including but not limited to developing custom objects, work-flow business rules, and validation rules; Microsoft Office Suite; relational databases used at enterprise scale.
- Skill in: Effective relationship management, communication, and presentation skills, with demonstrated success in working effectively with customers, vendors, peers, and senior management; working as member of a team; communicating effectively; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships; mentoring and providing guidance and/or instruction to junior staff.
- Ability to: Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems; work in high-energy, dynamic, and team-oriented environments; stay organized, prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines.
