Ideal Candidate:

An ideal candidate for this role would be a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong foundation in quality management and continuous improvement processes. They should have experience assisting in internal audits, maintaining document control, and participating in corrective action investigations. The candidate should also be skilled in supporting Kaizen events, analyzing data to identify trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. Additionally, they should be familiar with lean manufacturing principles and capable of helping to optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Internal Audits

  1. Assist in conducting audits to check compliance with standards and policies.
  2. Help identify areas of non-compliance and suggest corrective actions.
  3. Support the preparation of audit reports and share findings with the team.

Document Control

  1. Help maintain and update quality management system documents.
  2. Assist with version control and distribution of documents.
  3. Support training sessions on document control procedures.

Corrective Action

  1. Participate in investigations to find root causes of non-conformities.
  2. Assist in developing corrective action plans to address issues.
  3. Help monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and suggest improvements.

Continuous Improvement Event Process

  1. Support the planning and facilitation of Kaizen events and other improvement activities.
  2. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  3. Assist in tracking and reporting the outcomes of improvement events.

Data Analysis

  1. Help collect and analyze production and quality data to spot trends.
  2. Use statistical tools to interpret data and provide insights.
  3. Support presentations of data findings and recommend solutions.

Process Improvement

  1. Assist in evaluating current manufacturing processes to find optimization opportunities.
  2. Help implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and test process improvements.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BS in Industrial (and Systems) Engineering or Industrial Engineering Technology
  • One to three years' experience in a related field (preferred but not required)
