Software Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Aurora, CO. Contract Lenth: 12+ months, possible extension Must have an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance to be considered for this role. Responsibilities:* Supports troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of software applications Expected to troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance Performs testing, integration and delivery of new software baselines Ability to perform in-depth analysis and assessment with an end-to-end perspective of a complex system in operations Active and transferrable TS/SCI with polygraph U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start date Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Experience with coding software in Java, or C++ Experience in software development and/or software integration Desired Qualifications: Experience with software configuration management systems such as git or bitbucket Ability to work in a structured configuration-controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract Linux/Unix, GIT, and SQL experience JIRA, BitBucket and Confluence experience desired Employment Prerequisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
