About the Role

As a Senior Process Microbiologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the microbial safety and quality of Rockline's products across all manufacturing sites. You'll be the subject matter expert in microbiology, leading initiatives that enhance our controlled manufacturing environments and drive a culture of contamination prevention, directly influencing the safety and quality of products used by millions.

Your Impact

  • Set the standard for microbiological excellence across Rockline's global manufacturing operations.
  • Design and govern enterprise-wide cleaning, sanitizing, and environmental monitoring programs.
  • Lead investigations, driving root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions.
  • Assess and mitigate risk in equipment, processes, and facility design.
  • Shape global quality systems with a microbiology-first lens.
  • Drive cultural change by embedding contamination prevention into training, operations, and mindset.
  • Leverage data to identify trends, anticipate issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate at the highest levels with engineering, R&D, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure product safety and regulatory alignment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a microbiology-related position in a cGMP manufacturing environment for OTC Drug, Cosmetic, Food, or Medical Device products is required.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in manufacturing operations/process microbiology, with a strong understanding of operational equipment risk identification.
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements related to process microbiology.
  • Proven leadership, root cause analysis, and change management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness to travel is required.
