How you'll make an impact:

  • You will offer recommendations to improve conversion performance by translating analytical insights and A/B experimentation results into optimal business tactics combining key knowledge of business analytics, statistics and marketing.

  • You will help optimize marketing spend and conversion predictive power by building and enhancing machine learning models

What you'll do:

  • Research and build predictive, clustering and personalization models to improve marketing efficacy (examples: conversion propensity, personalization of offers, uplift modeling, etc.).

  • Lead sophisticated quantitative analyses and descriptive statistical modeling to answer key business questions to shape business strategy, define marketing KPIs and understand business trends.

  • Partner with marketing team to design A/B experiments across digital and offline channels and provide statistical evaluation of results.

  • Deliver presentations describing experiment & analysis results and summarize recommendations to business partners.

  • Prepare dashboards providing daily monitoring of test results, where needed.

  • Develop complex SQL queries combining data from a wide variety of sources in preparation of feature engineering and test analysis.

  • Contribute to our python library with enhanced machine learning techniques & automation tasks.

  • Build strong working relationships with business partners and develop expert knowledge of business area assigned to you.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, operations research, engineering, mathematics, economics, physics, business analytics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Strong prior experience in business analytics, experimental design and machine learning.

  • 10+ years of experience in data science or related field.

  • Strong background in SQL & Python, R is a plus.

  • Experience in machine learning algorithms. Examples: uplift modeling, conversion/churn propensity , reinforcement learning techniques, similarity/look-alike modeling, segmentation/clustering.

  • Thorough knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Databricks & Teradata platforms is a plus.

  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $ 181,136 to $205,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply
