Yard/Shop Person - Power & Energy

We're seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on tradesperson to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, keeping job sites efficient, and lending a hand where needed. Primary duties include maintaining clean and orderly work areas, organizing materials and tools, transporting materials to and from job sites, and assisting with light electrical work under supervision. Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and organize work areas, shop spaces, and job sites.
• Inventory, load, and transport tools and materials to job sites.
• Maintain an organized and stocked tool/material storage area.
• Perform light electrical tasks, such as installing devices, pulling wire, and basic fixture work (under supervision)
• Assist tradespeople and supervisors with general labor and project prep tasks.
• Ensure tools and materials are properly handled and stored to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and professionally
• Maintain a clean company vehicle and adhere to driving and safety policies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, electrical work, or general trades preferred
• Experience operating a reach truck (telehandler) and forklift preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, heights)
• Willingness to learn and perform light electrical work
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
