Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $16.00 - $22.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Thursday Overtime on Fridays as Needed Are your skills not being fully utilized? Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Set up and operate metal bending machines to shape metal parts according to specifications - Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle - Drilling fixtures - Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools - Operating hand and power tools - Organizing workstation and maintaining a clean work area - Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency Requirements for Machine Operator: - Ability to work with hands to assembly smaller components - Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist - Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift - Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and reach frequently throughout entire shift - Previous machine operator experience - Able to read a tape measure - Ability to work from blueprints, drawings and schematics QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
