Position Title: CNC Lathe Operator
Wage: $25-$27/hour DOE Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, 6am-10am Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Lathe Operator for a company in Kenosha, WI. This is an associate to hire role. CNC Lathe Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to produce metallic and nonmetallic parts - Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications, using precision measuring instruments - Properly complete necessary paperwork - Communicate with employees on other shifts - Cooperate with all employees and co-workers - Follow written and verbal instructions - Proper material I.D in facility - Utilize time efficiently and reduce waste - Product handling- protect parts; properly package, transport, and count quantity - Follow company policies, procedures, and instructions - Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information CNC Lathe Operator Requirements: - 3+ years of CNC Machine Operator experience - Must read, write and speak English with complete comprehension - Basic math skills - Read and interpret blueprints and drawings - Good eye/hand coordination - Must have good attention to detail - Must be able to lift 30 pounds frequently - Up to 10 hours of standing/walking - Frequent bending QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
