Pay / Schedule: $36/hr. Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm.

The Instrument and Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems at an air separation plant that produces gases like oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and hydrogen. This role is primarily outdoors and involves working at heights up to 110 feet and lifting up to 50 lbs. Technicians support plant operations through calibration, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment such as compressors, analyzers, pumps, and motors. They also contribute to safety, compliance, and efficiency goals under the supervision of the Plant Manager.

Key Requirements:



  • Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance: Ability to calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic, electric, and electronic measurement and control systems.
  • Mechanical Systems Experience: Skilled in maintaining and servicing pumps, turbines, valves, compressors, and motors according to technical manuals and safety standards.
  • Analytical Equipment Knowledge: Experience working with gas analyzers, gas chromatographs, and quality control instrumentation, including performing calibrations and adjustments.
  • Technical Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and understanding Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
  • Use of Electrical Test Tools: Competency with multimeters, calibration equipment, and other tools for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
