As a Delivery Manager on the CoCounsel Engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our software development, testing, and release processes. You will mentor scrum masters, champion continuous improvement, and drive delivery excellence across multiple agile teams, ensuring that our AI-powered legal products set the standard for quality and innovation.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Delivery Manager, CoCounsel, you will:

  • Establish and optimize software development, testing, and release processes aligned with Azure DevOps (ADO) best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.

  • Coach and mentor scrum masters on effective delivery monitoring, proactive planning, and impediment resolution to build high-performing agile teams.

  • Design and implement efficient bug triage, prioritization, and resolution processes, balancing customer impact, technical debt, and feature development.

  • Implement delivery analytics frameworks to monitor performance, track velocity, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with product owners, engineering managers, and business stakeholders to align delivery processes with business objectives and manage escalations.

  • Proactively identify and address resourcing gaps and planning inefficiencies to optimize team allocation and throughput.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, implementing feedback loops, and driving process optimization initiatives.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Delivery Manager, CoCounsel if you have the following required qualifications:

  • Deep hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), including work item management, sprint planning, release management, and reporting.

  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing agile software development processes.

  • Extensive experience mentoring scrum masters and agile teams, with strong capabilities in delivery monitoring and continuous improvement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience designing and running bug triage and prioritization processes.

  • Proficiency in delivery metrics, reporting, and analytics tools, including capacity planning and velocity tracking.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive process adoption.

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with AI/ML product development cycles.

  • Knowledge of the legal technology domain.

  • Certification in agile methodologies (CSM, PSM, SAFe).

  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $116,900 - $217,100.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
