Description
The Opportunity As an Experiential Specialist, you will take ownership of Ulteig's tradeshow and events program, supporting the broader Lifeline Sector marketing strategy and objectives. Your role is central to driving marketing initiatives-planning, implementing and evaluating annual tradeshow, event strategies and integrated campaigns. Collaboration is key: you'll partner closely with the Marketing Team, internal technical teams, Market Directors and Leaders and agency partners to transform ideas and plans into impactful experiences. You'll be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive marketing plans, including leading tradeshow strategy, managing vendor relationships, and working in tandem with the sales team to maximize results. What You'll Do Event Management
- Create an advantage for Ulteig, by assessing the competition, with superb booth placement, and advanced booking of the best restaurants and hotels for client events.
- Oversee tradeshow logistics management including but not limited to selection, coordination and administration of booth location, registration, booth packing, show services and rentals, hired labor, client events, meeting rooms, hotel accommodations, event scheduling, catering, sponsorships and more.
- Coordinate and conduct pre-show communications and meetings with attendees to provide logistical details, resources and documents for effective preparation; clarify attendance expectations; align on technical requirements and facilitate client and partner outreach.
- Lead post-show debrief sessions and distribute post-event surveys to summarize objectives, evaluate client, partner and prospect engagement, capture key takeaways and document lessons learned.
- Partner with Market Directors and relevant stakeholders to determine budgeted attendee numbers and coordinate event registration and logistics accordingly.
- Manage relationships with booth vendors and oversee logistics such as booth layout and design, freight management and coordination of hired labor.
- Conceptualize and design new booth graphics and banners to ensure alignment with current branding and relevance to target markets.
Strategic Direction
- Support the development of a long-term strategic plan designed to maximize market impact, drive growth, and ensure brand/market awareness.
- Contribute to the creation of the annual Marketing goals and functional plans, ensuring alignment with long-term Strategic Priorities and a clear understanding of current market and client insights.
- Maximize the impact of marketing initiatives by executing tradeshows and events in collaboration with cross-functional partners internally and externally.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform tradeshow participation and strategy and assist in collecting relevant market and competitive intelligence.
- Design and implement client-focused event plans that promote client engagement and elevate brand visibility and reputation, based on an understanding of our clients and using client success as a guide: who they are, how we can reach them and what they value.
- Maintain general knowledge of the industry and understand how changes affect our clients and the company. Execute specific marketing
- Review and adjust, to align with market strategies, an up-to-date annual memberships list and foster relationships with membership leaders.
Integrated Content & Brand Marketing
- Manage marketing campaigns that build brand and market awareness and uphold Ulteig's reputation at events.
- Oversee and execute marketing projects to support brand and market strategies, enhance Ulteig's market position and drive growth.
- Maximizing sponsorship and conferences to increase opportunities for expanded content distribution, thought leadership, expanded participation, speaking engagements, etc.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and execute pre-event content initiatives including but not limited to social media campaigns, email communications and collateral tailored to specific events.
- Boost client engagement with innovative booth materials and impactful events, positioning Ulteig as a market leader with relevant content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholder team to incorporate new products and diversified offerings; align campaigns with tradeshow strategy.
- Push for positive results by continually evaluating the impact and effectiveness of assigned projects and deliverables using both qualitative and quantitative inputs to enable continuous learning, project optimization, and enhanced client experience.
- Drive marketing effectiveness by using and monitoring marketing reporting to track, measure, and analyze.
Budget Management
- Lead and facilitate the annual tradeshow budgeting and planning process in partnership with the Market Directors and Marketing Team using previous year's feedback, strategic planning recalibration and other market priorities.
- Develop the annual operating plan based on input from Market Directors to ensure alignment with market roadmaps and the strategic plan
- Monitor and manage the tradeshow budget monthly to maintain alignment with financial targets, and update forecasts as needed.
What We Expect from You
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years direct marketing experience required.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Professional service firm experience, preferred
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
- Good analytic and information management skills.
- Must possess well-rounded knowledge of commonly used marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal/written/graphic communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to be detail-oriented, organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities.
- Ability to work independently and with all levels of employees to complete deadlines.
- Willingness to work on repetitive tasks with the flexibility of adding and responding to new tasks daily.
