Job Description
Future Aviation, Inc., a HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI) Repair Group facility, located in Southwest Florida, is the largest independent regional airline component MRO facility in the industry. We are currently seeking a Quoting Administrator to join our team.
The Quoting Administrator primarily functions as an assistant to the Quoting Supervisor, performing duties as delegated by the Quoting Supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare customer and internal documentation in order to create quote requests to suppliers.
- Contact suppliers to request and expedite, as necessary, open quote requests.
- Process supplier quotes to create Costed Bills of Material (BOMs) for use for MPI proposals to customer.
- Prepare detailed summaries of quotes to executive team.
- Create finished quote documentation and supporting data for customer submission.
- Maintain and control other databases controlled by the Sourcing group.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Materials procurement experience and/or labor costing experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
- Ability to read and speak English fluently.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY :
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram formats and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
