The Impact You'll Make

Responsible for mass-production of varying models of oil-free compressors by performing and participating in component parts preparation and line assembly operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Troubleshoots rejected compressors, determines root cause of test failures, and makes necessary repairs.
  • Works with engineers, supervisors, and managers to develop solutions to prevent future failures and measures to increase FPY.

  • Processes RF (refurbished) and CFM (customer returned units) and prepares them to be ran on the production line.

  • Maintains a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
  • Performs compressor validation testing on VTT units in R&D Lab.

  • Is trained on, and works at, various tasks including mechanical assembly, operating pressure test stands, functional testing, preparation, material handling and other related operations as required.

  • Tends machines, such as hydraulic or pneumatic presses, air wrenches, or other tools to perform force fitting, fastening and/or bonding operations on the assembly line.

  • Prepares units for and performs burst test on units per quarterly requirements.

  • Responsible for understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.

What We're Looking For

Education and/or Experience:



  • Minimum High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

  • One to three years related experience and/or training

  • EPA 608 certification required within first 30 days of being awarded the position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for diagnosing issues with compressors, understanding test failures, and implementing repairs effectively. Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems would be beneficial.

  • Proficiency in operating machinery and tools, such as hydraulic presses and air wrenches

  • Given the emphasis on quality assurance and compliance with policies and procedures, a keen eye for detail is necessary

  • Being able to convey technical information clearly and collaborate on improvements is crucial.
