The Impact You'll Make

As a Subassembly Technician at Danfoss, you will be an integral part of our production team, supporting the mass assembly of various models of oil-free compressors. This hands-on role involves mechanical and electrical subassembly tasks, equipment operation, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality components that meet performance and safety standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assembling and preparing component parts according to specifications using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, or other fastening methods.

  • Operating equipment such as hydraulic and pneumatic presses, air wrenches, and hand tools to complete subassembly processes.

  • Performing mechanical assembly tasks, including functional testing, pressure testing, and preparation of parts for final assembly.

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards.

  • Supporting quality control by adhering to Danfoss' quality policies, procedures, and documentation standards.

  • Collaborating with peers and engineers to improve subassembly methods and processes.

  • Managing material handling and contributing to lab organization and readiness.

  • Participating in continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical assembly



Preferred Qualifications




  • Proficient with mechanical assembly and common fastening tools

  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic tools

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret assembly instructions or basic technical drawings

  • Experience in maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Understanding of basic quality assurance principles and customer satisfaction goals

  • Ability to lift components, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive task
