This is more than a testing role,it's a hands-on engineering opportunity where your insights and precision help ensure safety, performance, and innovation in every product we release. You'll collaborate with experts across disciplines, influence design decisions, and help validate technologies that drive sustainability in motion and power control.

Join a global company that values curiosity, continuous learning, and engineering excellence. If you thrive in a lab environment and love solving practical challenges that matter, this role offers the chance to make a real-world impact every day.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform hands-on testing of VFD systems-verifying electrical and mechanical performance, safety, and reliability for new and existing designs.

  • Partner with engineers and product teams to develop test plans and guide product compliance from concept to final release.

  • Mentor and support lab users, ensuring safe lab practices and high-quality, consistent test results.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports and clearly communicate findings to design teams to drive design improvements.

  • Operate and maintain lab equipment, from power analyzers and dynamometers to data loggers and thermal testing tools, while keeping the lab organized, professional, and inspection-ready.

Background & Skills

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE, BSEET, or BSME).

  • 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in a product development or testing environment.

  • Strong understanding of 3-phase power systems, electric motors, and VFD technology.

  • Hands-on experience using test and measurement tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, HiPot testers, thermocouples, power analyzers).

  • Confident interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

  • Familiarity with UL/IEC standards for power drive systems (UL/IEC 61800 series) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills in English.

  • Bonus: Experience with tools like AutoCAD, OrCAD, and lifecycle databases such as Polarion or PLM.
