Individual Assurance Company is seeking exceptional individuals to join our team in the role of Life Insurance Customer Service Supervisor

LifeShield and its subsidiary, Individual Assurance Company (IAC), comprise one of the nation's most dynamic and rapidly growing carriers. LifeShield focuses on life and supplemental accident and health insurance products for individuals, families, businesses, and associations, while IAC specializes in Medicare Supplement and group life policy administration.

Job Responsibilities Include:



  • Provide leadership to the team, guiding and motivating employees to work towards common goals.

  • Analyze information, assess risk, and choose the best course of action to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Identify and solve problems that may arise within their area of responsibility.
  • Adapt at addressing challenges and finding practical solutions to keep operations running
  • Develop plans, allocate tasks, and ensure that the team is working cohesively towards the organization's goals.
  • Develop and nurture team members to include training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Evaluate the performance of the team members to include setting performance expectations, conducting regular assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support individual and team development.


Position Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least 1 year experience managing employees in a call center environment, to include hiring, training, performance management, Key performance indicator tracking and monitoring goals.

Preference will be given to those with experience in an insurance call center, ideally having knowledge of life and health products.

Successful candidates will also possess the following skillsets.



  • Demonstrates sound decision
  • Ability to motivate others and address potential conflict in a positive and productive
  • Advanced interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
