Job Duties:
The Osher Center for Integrative Health is a UW-Madison Center that is housed in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health in the SMPH. It became a campus center at the end of 2022. The Osher Collaborative for Integrative Health comprises an international group of eleven academic Centers funded by The Bernard Osher Foundation to teach, study, and practice integrative health. The eleven programs possess both unique and shared strengths in the ares of research, education, and clinical medicine. The administrative specialist will work with the existing team of core Center members as they work on discovering innovative strategies for healthier communities as as fostering relationships in the community, with other SMPH departments, and with other schools, colleges, and centers on the UW-Madison campus. This position is full or part-time, 80%-100%, Monday through Friday 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at DFMCH's home office on Whitney Way. Based on these rules, if the person selected for this recruitment will earn less than the new salary threshold at July 1, 2024 ($43,888 annually), they will be an academic staff non-exempt employee, will be paid hourly and will receive overtime compensation for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
