This position involves helping to manage the inventory of the Wisconsin Union's warehouse and assisting with providing products to various locations on campus as part of our team. It also includes driving box trucks between the various locations in order to transport various goods to and from them as well as between Union South and Memorial Union.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Distributes and delivers food and product with WI Union vehicles
  • Tracks inventory levels and places replenishment orders following established vendor procurement procedures
  • Inspects and inventories received items and processes notifications to appropriate entities
  • Generates inventory reports to account for available stock and usage
  • Shelves inventory and maintains organization

Wisconsin Union, Dining & Hospitality, Support Services

Work Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:00pm, alternating weekends with another member of the team.

Saturday 5:30am-1:30pm & Sunday 6:00am-2:00pm

Compensation:

The starting salary is $20.00/hour - but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

This position is eligible for weekend differentials of $0.80/hr.

Required Qualifications:

-Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 500lbs, and lift items weighing up to 60lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with receiving and storage of perishable foods, supplies and merchandise

-Experience with assemble and distribution of processed foods, supplies, and merchandise

-Experience with conducting inventory

License/Certifications:

Driver's License - Valid and Meets UW Risk Management Standards Required

Must hold at time of hire and maintain during employment
